STATEMENT

I am primarily a photographer but my mediums are light and time. Often working with very long exposures, I’m interested in what emerges when the surface ephemera fade away and the essence of what’s there builds throughout the image. What’s the signature of a place? What does a “moment” mean; can it mean as much as 10 hours (or more) in a single frame? And how does the natural environment itself make its specific mark if allowed to do so?
